About Us
The Center for Social and Economic Change – CESEC Europe is a non-profit organization based in Tallinn, Estonia, dedicated to promoting sustainable development, good governance, and vibrant civil societies, particularly in fragmented or underrepresented regions. Our work focuses on supporting and strengthening regional and local life through education, research, and international collaboration. CESEC EU initiates and supports cross-border research and educational projects, conducts studies, consulting, and training activities, and raises awareness through targeted campaigns. We also produce publications, digital materials, and educational resources, while regularly organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, and study visits. By partnering with institutions, organizations, and public bodies across Estonia, the EU, and beyond, CESEC Europe serves as a dynamic platform for positive social and economic change.
Our Story
CESEC Europe was born out of a shared vision among educators, researchers, and changemakers who saw the urgent need to bridge gaps in governance, education, and civil society—especially in regions often left behind. What started as a collaborative idea between like-minded individuals quickly evolved into a committed organization with a mission to empower communities through knowledge, cooperation, and innovation. From the heart of Tallinn, we now connect local voices to global conversations, turning research into action and ideas into impact.
