Our Initiatives
As part of our efforts to establish CESEC Europe and build meaningful transnational partnerships, we held a series of strategic meetings in Tallinn with the Estonian Heritage Society, the Open Estonia Foundation, and the e-Estonia Briefing Centre. These visits provided valuable opportunities to explore collaboration in the fields of cultural heritage, civic resilience, and digital innovation

Meeting with the Open Estonia Foundation
As part of our outreach efforts in Estonia, we met with the Open Estonia Foundation in Tallinn to explore shared priorities and potential collaboration. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to explore shared values and discuss future collaboration in areas such as democratic participation, civic innovation, and inclusive dialogue. Given Estonia's strong commitment to open society values and the Foundation’s pivotal role in supporting democratic development, this exchange was especially relevant for CESEC Europe’s mission. The discussion was enriched by mutual interest in fostering resilience, social responsibility, and inclusive decision-making processes. We are thankful for the Open Estonia Foundation's warm welcome and openness to future cooperation.
Exploring Cultural Cooperation
As part of our ongoing efforts to expand CESEC Europe’s cultural and civic partnerships across Europe, our Founding Directors Mr. Bulent Kanol and Ms. Muesser Cemal visited the Europa Nostra Estonia. We were warmly welcomed at their offices in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town. The meeting focused on exploring avenues for collaboration in the areas of cultural heritage preservation and civic resilience. Estonia’s rich heritage, resilience, and civic infrastructure provide valuable inspiration for our initiatives. We are grateful for the warm hospitality and look forward to continued dialogue and cooperation with Europa Nostra Estonia and the Estonian Heritage Society.

Exploring Digital Governance and Civic Innovation
As part of our exploration of Estonia’s cutting-edge civic infrastructure and digital innovation, we visited the e-Estonia Briefing Centre in Tallinn. The visit provided valuable insights into Estonia’s globally recognized digital governance model, including its e-residency program, secure digital identity system, and citizen-centric public services. These pioneering approaches to transparent, efficient, and inclusive governance are highly relevant to our mission at CESEC Europe, particularly in supporting civic resilience and institutional innovation in divided societies. The experience highlighted the potential for knowledge exchange and inspired ideas on how digital tools can empower civil society, strengthen democratic participation, and bridge societal divides. We are grateful for the informative session and look forward to further dialogue with Estonia’s digital leaders.
